VOLLEYBALL
Volleyball at Hope is open to all girls in the 5th-8th grades. We currently have the following teams:
5th grade - Mary Martin and Morgan Ledgerwood
6th grade - Anna O'Brien
7th grade - Mary & Bill Peterson
8th grade - Janet Annan & Audrey Hoobs
Regular season practice will be:
for 5th and 6th grade - Monday & Wednesday from 3:30-5:30
for 7th and 8th grade - Tuesday & Thursday from 3:30-5:30
The 5th-6th grade Preseason Tournament is August 27th. This tournament is hosted by the Hope Lutheran 8th grade class and is a fundraiser for their class trip to Chicago in May. The tournament is a non-competitive tournament for 5th-6th grade teams. Trophies are not awarded. Our empahsis is on learning how to play in an actual game setting to prepare for the regular season.
Regular season games wil begin on Friday, September 9th and will be every Friday evening in September.
September - Topeka Tournament (All Day - 7th Grade)
October - Alma Tournament (All Day - 8th Grade)
October - 5/6 League Tournament
October - 7/8 League Tournament
Schedules will be available in late August.
