Hope Lutheran School Supplies 2011-2012
This is a list of supplies needed to begin the school year. You will need to check with your child and refill or replace items as needed throughout the year. All supplies and clothing must be labeled with the child's name or initials, including each crayon, marker, pencil, etc. Please label all pencils on the eraser end. Calculators and assignment books will be available for purchase at registration. Calculators do not have to be purchased from the school.
ART SUPPLIES: Do not need to be purchased. Each student in grades K-8 is charged an $10.00 art fee which is part of the school fees. The school will purchase the art supplies and provide them for the students during the school year.
Kindergarten
1 box crayons - 24
1 bottle Elmer's or school glue
1 box water color paints
3 pencils - #2
1 Fiskar scissors for kids (plastic ones will not work)
1 pkg. water-color markers-large diameter, classic colors
6 large glue sticks
1 soft-sided lunch box with zipper closing to use as a school box
1 school bag to carry things to and from school (big enough to carry a legal size manila envelope). Please no backpacks with wheels- they don’t fit in our cubbies!

1 container Clorox Disinfectant Wipes

3 stiff pocket folders (strong enough to stand w/out bending over)

1 pkg. watercolor markers (large diameter- classic colors)

1 school box for supplies (cigar-box size – must fit in desk with books)
