Mrs. Hanebutt's Third Graders are the "Apple of God's Eye".  You have been created by God uniquely and specially. We are so special to Him that He sent His only Son to die for us and rise again, so that one day we will live with Him in heaven.  God will keep us as the apple of His eye each day of our third grade year and He will continue to keep us each day for the rest of our lives!  May God bless each of you in this new school year!  I am blessed to be your teacher.

Homework during the school year:

Memory is due each Tuesday and Thursday.

Spelling pretest is on Wednesday and the test is on Friday.  Practice the words each night.

Read each night for 20-30 minutes.   Students are asked to read 400-600 minutes each month.  Reading logs are worth 20 reading points and the students also receive 5 tickets for the treasure chest.  This year the students are asked to keep track of the number of pages they read each month, also.
Price Chopper is rewarding classes with a party at the end of the year (if the students reach the class reading goal: total number of pages read - which will be announced soon.)

Practice math facts for Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division.  My "Links" has sites to practice.
